FarSync X.25 for Windows V5.1.0 provides X.25 Runtime support on 64-bit versions of Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows Server 2019 and Windows Server 2016.

If you require support for FarSync X.25 Device Software on an earlier version of Windows, please refer to the earlier release of the drivers that are available here.

Note that Version 5.1.0 has also been tested with Windows 7 and Windows 8, but these versions of Windows are no longer supported by Microsoft. It is therefore not possible to provide assurances for correct operation on those platforms.

For Version 5.1.0, the installation should be carried out as follows:

Step 1 – install the hardware drivers for the FarSync card(s)/devices(s) that you are using. These can be found here.

Step 2- Continue to install the X.25 protocol software by right-clicking on each file below and using Save As… to download the file.

For .zip files, locate the downloaded zip file in Windows Explorer, right-click the zip file and choose Extract All.

Once extracted, open the file install.html in a web browser to view the product documentation and follow the installation instructions there.

FarSync X.25 for Linux V5.0.0b provides X.25 support for use with the following FarSync adapters:

• USB device: FarSync Flex
• PCI Express cards: FarSync K2Ee, T2Ee, T4Ee and T4Ue

Note that Version 5 specifically supports:

• Linux kernel versions up to and including 6.2
• 64-bit environments only

If you require earlier FarSync support for:

• other types of FarSync cards
• 32-bit environments

please refer to the earlier release available here

For Version 5, right-click each file below and use Save As… to download the file.

For .tar.gz files, locate the downloaded tar.gz files in a command shell and use the following commands to extract the contents

tar -zxvf farsync-5.0.4-b006.tar.gz

tar -zxvf farsync-x25-5.0.0b.tar.gz

Once extracted follow the instructions in the FarSync® X.25 Runtime for Linux® Installation and Configuration Guide (farsync-x25-install.pdf) at the top level of the farsync-x25-5.0.0b directory.
