SDK installation ------------------- The SDK does not install any drivers or supporting software or applications, instead it provides a library archive for the bit stream library and a set of example applications in source code format for you to use as starting points for your own application development. For easy access to the documentation and examples you can use a web browser to open the index.html file to navigate your way around the SDK. 4. Changes in this release -------------------------- Updated examples to remove compilation warnings Minor documentation updates 4.1. Known issues ----------------- In async mode, the maximum receive rates on ports B, C and D of a T4Ee is 9600 bps. Port A may recieve at the maximum async rate of 115200. The farsync driver does support applications built on a 32 bit Linux system on 64 bit Linux platforms. However, if your 32 bit application was built on an Ubuntu 32 bit system then there appears to be a problem with the fcntl() system call. It can cause data corruption of local variables within your application and thus affect its operation. This isn't a driver problem as such but has been found while testing this functionality. 5.
